Self-admittedly, our founder Steve is a full-blown hat addict — and we mean that in the best way possible. For him, hats aren’t just an accessory. They’re a lifestyle staple, a reflection of the day’s mood, the weather, the activity… even the coffee. Whether it's a classic snapback, a washed cotton dad cap, or a waterproof runner’s lid, Steve has probably worn it, tested it, and had thoughts on how to make it better.

That obsession? It's part of what inspired Type Eh's very first products. Steve wanted gear that looked great, felt good, and could keep up — whether on a morning run, at the lake, or just grabbing a double-double. So when we say our hats are made with purpose, comfort, and character… trust us, it comes from a place of true hat-wearing experience.
